Chances are you’ve seen BROTHER on NBC’s ‘ER’, maybe heard their music on the classic ‘Baraka’ soundtrack or UPN’s ‘ Twilight Zone.’ The band has shared stages with Joe Walsh, John Entwhistle, Linkin Park, and Alicia Keys and are the only independent band to have played the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Fusing signature vocals and guitar with the deep pulse of the didgeridoo, the soaring highs of the bagpipes, and tribal percussion, BROTHER is wholly original. The band’s powerhouse live performances are an energetic celebration, captivating and engaging the audience from the first song to the last.

Angus, founding member of BROTHER, arrived in Los Angeles from Australia with his brothers a decade ago as little more than fresh-faced farm boys. In LA, they found themselves busking at Venice Beach, the Hollywood Bowl and Universal Studios to survive. Since those days, BROTHER evolved its trademark sound while touring extensively in the United States and in Canada, Japan, France, Egypt and Australia.

They did it all free from standard industry trends and pigeon-holes. BROTHER has self-released 12 albums, sold more CDs in the USA than any other independent Australian act and has regularly been cited as a role model within the independent scene.

BROTHER live today is a powerhouse celtic tribal trio. The band’s legendary live shows have reached a whole new level, with soul brothers Angus, Dalbo and Drew filling the stage with their energy and sound.

And we have a lot of fun playing it.
The crashing of the waves and the sails snapping in the wind. The creaking of timbers over the raucous laughter of gentlemen of fortune. You’re not at a Renaissance Festival you’re there with the Musical Blades, part of the crew of the Prickly Bitch. Since the turn of the century, the Musical Blades have been transporting festival patrons into their hilarious world of dazzling sword fights, witty dialog, and original maritime songs (Lately, lots of original maritime songs). We’re thrilled to hosting a number of their songs from their upcoming album, Piratically Incorrect, available later this Summer.

Founded by faire veteran Bob Brinkman and Keenan Mills, by the second day of performance Marooned had grown to an a capella quartet combining over 20 years of faire experience and a variety of musical styles. Since that time Marooned has performed at faires throughout California, including the Ojai Festival and the Santa Barbara Renaissance Faire. Of course, the group is always looking for new venues for performance, and has even been approached to work on a film soundtrack. Marooned is considering a second CD, a 10 year cast & crew retrospective, but in the meantime their latest CD appearance is on the Hurricane Relief CD, Circle. Experience is the prime force of any group. Marooned combines 50 years of faire experience with a wide variety of backgrounds represented. Marooned takes Sea Shanties and Irish drinking music and adds a few original numbers to put on a lively and energetic show. From silly, to the bawdy … and often back again.

Ten tunes leave the listener dying for more, like a pint of Guinness that’s been shorted with too much foam.” John Bowles of Paddy Rock Radio says “Patrick Devlin’s growling vocals and grinding guitar, Brian Vogel’s crashing and smashing on the drums, Chad Smalley’s great vocal harmony and bass work, and some of the best damn violin playing I’ve heard on an independent release from Turi Hoiseth, just compliment each other tremendously.”
